Robert Jones
Robert Jones, age 86, of Yellville, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Pine Lane Therapy and Living in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Mr. Jones was born August 3, 1929 in Blue John, Arkansas to the late Andrew and Angie (Lafoon) Jones. He was a farmer and a lifelong resident of the area. He enjoyed hunting.
Robert is survived by his wife, Sibyl, of the home; one son Mike Jones of Yellville, Arkansas; three daughters: Sherlene McMurrin and her husband, David, of Harrison, Arkansas; Pamela Jones of Yellville, Arkansas; and Judy Garretson and her husband, Ed, of Searcy, Arkansas; one brother, Jerry Jones and his wife, Joyce, of Yellville, Arkansas; and one sister, Irene Humphrey of Flippin, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Sharon Kindrix, Carla Staggs, Kyle Garretson, and Cody Garretson; and four great-grandchildren: Jackson, Rylee, McKynlee, and Paisley.
He was preceded in death by three brothers: Hester, Louis and Preston; and two sisters: Daisy, and Dorcie.
Visitation for Mr. Jones will be Tuesday, September 29, 2015 one hour prior to service time at 1:00 pm.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fred Goodall officiating.
Interment will be follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Yellville.
