Mr. R. K. Anschultz, 69, of Grubbs died Monday, January 28, 2013 in Newport. He was born November 16, 1943 in Waldenburg, the son of Bill and Della (Bradley) Anschultz.

Mr. Anschultz restored antique furniture, was a Master Plumber, and former manager of Grubbs Water Department. He was a member of the Pennington Church of Christ. He was a member of the VFW, enjoyed Bible studies, wood-working, hunting, fishing, camping, and loved family events.

Mr. Anschultz was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Francis (Critcher) Anschultz; one brother, James Anschultz; and his parents.

He is survived by two sons, Kenny Anschultz, and wife Susan of Bradford, and Brian Anchultz and wife Patrice of Grubbs; one brother, Lannas Anschultz of Bowling Green, Kentucky; three sisters, Loretta Lindeman of Dallas, Texas, Dot Nicholson of Newport, and Sharon Clausen of Newport; and one grandson, Zach Anschultz.

Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Grubbs Church of Christ with interment to follow at Ballew's Chapel Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Danny Greeno, Payton Greeno, Chris Anschultz, Jacob Critcher, Tony Lindeman, and Zach Anschultz. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Critcher, Jerry Critcher, Jack Critcher, Mike Critcher, Matt Critcher, Jordan Pelley, Brad Johnson, and Lynn Nicholson.
