Springdale - Carmon Edward Trammel, 68, of Springdale died Tuesday in a Springdale hospital. Born March 17, 1917, at Mayfield, the son of Hosea and Ona Mayfield Trammel, he was a retired employee of the Arkansas Highway Dept. and a member of Richland View Community Church.

Survivors include his wife, Jewell Guess Trammel of the home; a son, Bob Trammel of Springdale; and two grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Sisco Chapel with burial in Goshen Cemetery.

Jewell Marie Trammel, age 88, of Springdale, Arkansas died on April 17, 2010 in Springdale. She was born on May 24, 1921 in Green Forest, Arkansas to T.A. and Willie Potter Guess.

Jewell was a member of the Richland View Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Carman Trammel who she married on December 10, 1943; and three sisters, Ruth Palstring, Gladys Clark, and Ethel Jennings.

Survivors include one son, Bob Trammel and his wife, Vickie of Springdale, two grandchildren, Chandra and her husband, Brian Rogers of Bella Vista and Clinton Trammel of Fayetteville; one great-grandchild, Max Rogers, six nieces, five nephews, and several cousins and friends.

Funeral services were held 2:00PM at Westfield Chapel on Tuesday, April 20th, 2010 with burial at Goshen Cemetery, Goshen, Ar.
