SPRINGDALE — Bill Disheroon, 89, of Springdale died, Wednesday, May 22, 2013, in Rogers. He was born Sept. 4, 1921, in Memphis, Tenn., to William and Hallie Burton Childress Disheroon.

Bill was an electrician. He worked on several local area projects including Beaver Dam, the Northwest Arkansas Mall, Hillcrest Towers and the old Washington Regional Medical Center.

Bill served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper. He jumped during the Normandy Invasion. Bill was a member of the Robinson Avenue Church of Christ. He also worked at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Tommie Disheroon; and granddaughter, Amanda Hoff.

He is survived by his daughter, Julie Hoff and husband, Wayne, of Springdale. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 25, at Forest Park Cemetery with Pastor Mark Krause officiating.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.

SPRINGDALE — Tommie Lea Disheroon, 75, of Springdale died June 7, 2002, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. She was born Jan. 9, 1927, in Hope to Thomas Newton and Mary Edith Nix Stewart. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Robinson Avenue Church of Christ since 1963. She enjoyed fishing, camping and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Disheroon of the home, whom she married Dec. 23, 1948; one daughter, Julie Disheroon Hoff and husband Wayne of Springdale; one granddaughter, Amanda Hoff.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Forest Park Cemetery with Dub DeLoach officiating.

Memorials may be made to NARTI, 5835 W. Sunset Ave, Springdale, 72762.

Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale.
