Mrs. Wilta Marteen Weaver, 93, of Fort Myers, FL., passed away Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Lee Memorial Hospital in Fort Myers, FL. Mrs. Weaver was born in Corning, AR., on March 9, 1920. She was a retired environmental service worker for William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. She was a member of Royal Oak Church of Christ in Royal Oak, MI., for over fifty years. She volunteered at the Church of Christ Care Center. She enjoyed crocheting and making gifts for many people.

She married her husband Marshall Earnest Weaver on August 28, 1937, he preceded her in death on May 2, 1979.

She is survived by one son Robert Weaver and wife Pat of Jacksonville, FL.; one daughter Nancy Benavides of Fort Myers, FL.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents Henry Reelious and Ida Lee (Lane) Blaylock; six brothers Lee Blaylock, Raymond Blaylock, John Blaylock, Harry Blaylock, Don Blaylock, Kenneth Blaylock and one sister Marie Mabry.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Corning Cemetery.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Royal Oak Church of Christ, 115 S. Campbell, Royal Oak, MI 48067.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Church of Christ Care Center or Schultz-Lewis Children's Home in Valparaiso, IN.
