Mrs Minnie Shaver, Guion, Passes Away

Mrs Minnie Gertrude Shaver, 54 of Guion died Saturday at a Batesville hospital. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, was a housewife and a Baptist.

She is survived by her husband, Oather Shaver of Guion: one son, Johnny of the home; three daughters, Mrs Veola (sp) Henderson, Sulphur Rock , Mrs Bernice Engles of Guion and Miss Linda Shaver of the home; one brother Willie Anderson and one sister, Mrs Nettie Moser, both of Wenatchee, Wash.; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The services were held Monday afternoon at the Pine Grove Church with burial in the Reeves Cemetery . Rev. Owen Harvell of Melbourne officiated.

Pallbearers were J. D. Craig, Elva Craig, Von Dee Reeves, Coline Reeves, J. R. Vickery and Anus Chrisco. Crouch Funeral Home directed.
