Emogene Morris, 76, of Wooster went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 1, 2010. She was born on Sunday, November 5, 1933 in Conway to the late Cecil and Chloria (Spillers) Smith.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She was greatly loved and will be missed.
She is survived by six daughters, Dianna Carmichael, Marion Sublett, Donna Presley, Marsha McEntire-Morgan, Stephanie Jo Morris of Wooster, and Stacy Chance of Carlisle; seventeen grandchildren, Michael Carmichael, Lisa Fuller, Denise McElroy, Chad Sublett, Jeff Sublett, April Sublett, Jason Presley, Matthew Presley, Brandon Morris, Johnathan McEntire, Natasha McEntire, Cecil McEntire, Christopher Todd Hewitt, Robin Nicole Jones, Dustin Scott Hewitt, Michaela Emogene Hewitt, and Dallas Cole Miller; and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Morris.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Tuesday, January 5, 2010 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway with Brother Freddie Mark Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Holland with Michael Carmichael, Jason Presley, Matthew Presley, Johnathan McEntire, Cecil McEntire, Christopher Hewitt, Dustin Hewitt, and Brandon Morris, serving as pallbearers. Jeff Sublett, Chad Sublett, Dallas Miller, and Tyler Sims-Sublett, will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., on Monday, January 4, 2010.
