Rintha Vera Brooks of Guion, daughter of the late Lee and Betty Arnold Campbell was born August 30, 1920 at Guion. She died August 5, 2001, at Eastern Ozarks Regional Health System at Cherokee Village. She was 80.
Mrs. Brooks was a homemaker and a member of the Guion Church of Christ.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Anneta and Kenneth Brown of Hardy; four sons, Carl Lee Campbell of Springdale; Donald G. Brooks and Bobby L. Brooks both of Guion; and Chris A. Brooks of Hardy; one brother, Euel J. Campbell of Springfield, Missouri; one sister, Virginia Adams of Little Rock; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held August 8, 2001 at Pine Grove Church at Guion with Bro. Alvin Wiles, Bro. Larry Sellers and Bro. Gerald Coleman officiating. Pallbearers were Philip Johnson, Chris Brooks, Dewey Love, Vernon Lancaster, Gerald Coleman and Kenneth Brown. Honorary pallbearers were Russell Adams, Doug Campbell, James Dobson, Joe Wehunt, Howard Lamb, Conny Johnson, and James Simore.
Interment was in Reeves Cemetery at Guion under the direction of Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.
