Jacqueline (Jackie) Hensley, 80 of Holland, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31st. She was born September 6th, 1930 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late John Charles and Pearl (Warner) Maurer. She was also preceded in death by her husband Harley Hensley, one son, Dennis Eugene Thompson, and one sister, Eva Hoerz.
Jackie loved going to church and enjoyed serving coffee and doughnuts every Sunday at The Church Alive in Conway. She loved sewing, especially for her grand-daughters. Jackie loved reading and spending time with her dogs. Most of all she loved her family and will be greatly missed by them.
She is survived by one daughter, Sheila Voyles and husband Bill of Conway, three sons, Bobby Thompson of Holland, Roger Thompson and wife Sandra of Benton, and Joe Thompson Jr. and wife Mary of Quitman, one brother, John Maurer and wife Sally of Huntington Beach, California, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, February 3rd, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway, with Pastor Randy Long officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Holland under the direction of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway(501-327-7727). Visitation will be 6pm to 8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
