Faye Andrews, 91 of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2014, at Timberlane Health & Rehab. She was born May 22, 1923 to Clifton Breckonridge and Ella Baker Rowlett in Guy, AR.
She was a member of the First Christian Church and the Eagles Church Auxiliary. She worked as an operator for Hurley Printing Co. before her retirement.
Preceding her in death are her parents; two husbands, J.C. Strickland, and Tilton Andrews; son, Myrle D. Strickland; step daughter, Wanda Armstrong; one sister, Ethel Mae Webb; and five brothers, her twin, Donald Ray, William, Lonnie, and C.B Rowlett.
Survivors include her son, Wayne Strickland (Aviva) of Kansas City, MO; five grandchildren, Brian Strickland (Deborah) of Smackover, McCall Creswell (Jamie), Josh Strickland (Megan), and Caroline Strickland, Asha Heddar, eight step grandchildren; three great grandchildren, Shawn and Seth Strickland, Reece Creswell; twelve step great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Strickland of El Dorado; and one sister, Opal Rowlett.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2014, at Young's.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014, at Young's Chapel with Rev. Tom Whitworth officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
