Beverley "Bunny" Kaldem, 87, of El Dorado, AR, departed this life on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at the Medical Center of South Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo E. McGinnis and Viola Story McGinnis, and her husband, Dr. William M. Kaldem.

She is survived by her son, William M. Kaldem, Jr. (Becky) of El Dorado, AR; two daughters, Marcia C. Hendren (Dr. Glen R. Hendren) of Starkville, MS and Virginia K. Weir of Poplarville, MS (Butch); six grandchildren, Chad Hendren (Michelle), Mark Hendren (Sarah), Grant Kaldem (Shay), Erika Kaldem Funderburg (TJ) , Jennifer Weir (Beau Lackey) and James Weir; six great grandchildren, Ben Hendren, Drew Hendren, Callie Hendren, John Martin Hendren, Emma Grace Funderburg, and Tinsley Brooke Barbaree.

Bunny worked part time for Doctors Kaldem, Weddle and Baumgardner as a bookkeeper until her husband's retirement. She was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, a president of the Presbyterian Women, historian of the National Women's Auxiliary to the National American Dental Association, president of the Southwest District Dental Auxiliary and director and secretary of the Arkansas Dental Auxiliary. She was on the YWCA Board of Directors, served on the El Dorado Auditorium Commission, serving as chairman for two years, was on the El Dorado Service League, Chairwoman of the Heart Association Drive, and President of the PTA, and on the Girl Scout Council.

The family will gather at Young's Funeral Directors for visitation on Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Private graveside services will be Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors, a memorial service will follow at First Presbyterian Church Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Patrick Fleming officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Children's Hospital or to the First Presbyterian Church.
