Robert - March 27, 1923 - January 4, 1994
Anna - October 9, 1922 - February 25, 2015

On the morning of Wednesday, February 25, 2015, as the snow gently and softly covered the ground, Anna Bell Hadden Patton was ushered into the arms of Jesus, meeting her Savior face to face. She was born on October 9, 1922, to Jennie and Arthur Hadden. Her life of 92 years was a living testimony of her faith in God.

She was known as the "hat lady" at West Side Baptist Church. The hat symbolized her love and heart for missions, and served as a reminder to give offerings in support of home and foreign missions. She ministered beside her husband, Bob, as he pastored churches in Arkansas and Indiana. She faithfully served as Sunday school teacher of the Adult 5 ladies class at West Side.

Those who loved her beyond words and called her Mama include Anna Hill (Danny) of El Dorado, Vivian Jerry of El Dorado, Bobby Patton (Sharon) of Demotte, Indiana, Donna Hill (Gary) of El Dorado, and Bill Patton of Madison, Wisconsin. She was called Granny by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-six great grandchildren. Those who were privileged to call her sister include Laura Ward, Bertha Nichols, Bill Hadden and Perry Hadden. She will be greatly missed by a host of extended family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her husband of forty-eight years, R.E. "Bob" Patton; a daughter, Bette Farmer; a granddaughter, Mary Katherine Hill; a great granddaughter, Chloe Grace Brantley; her parents; and four siblings.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2015, at Young's.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at West Side Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Gary Hill and Rev. Tyler Brantley. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.

The family would like to thank West Side Baptist Church, Dr. Rosaline Fraser, South Arkansas Home Health, Life Touch Hospice, and nurse, Shonda Ratliff.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to missions at West Side Baptist Church, 2400 W. Hillsboro, El Dorado, AR 71730.
