Ruben A. Adams, 76, of El Dorado, formerly of Ouachita County, died Sunday in an El Dorado hospital. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Cemetery in El Dorado under the direction of Proctors Funeral Home of Camden. Mr. Adams was a retired logger and saw operator and a member of the North Highland Assembly of God Church. He is survived by his widow, Alma Waggoner Adams; two sons, Jimmy Adams and Jerry Adams, both of El Dorado; two brothers, W. T. Adams of Prescott and W. A. Adams of Reader, one sister, Mrs. Evelyn Sawyer of Cantonment, Fla. and four grandchildren. (Camden News - December 20, 1976)
