Located in Ft. Smith, Sebastian County, bounded on the east by S. Greenwood St and on the west by S. 31st St, n the north by Dodson Ave and the south by S. O St. There are gates that enter the cemetery on S. 31st and S. Greenwood Sts.

GPS Coordinates: Latitude: 35.3694, Longitude: -94.4017

Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1955. Earliest tombstone is Captain Gookin who died in 1842, the year the city was incorporated. Also buried here is John Rogers, the founder of Ft Smith; Governor William Fishback; Arthur Erback, husband of Pearl Starr; 80 of Judge Parker's deputy US marshals; 28 men hung by Judge Parker; 15 Ft Smith mayors; and more than 100 Confederate soldiers.
