Orthur Buel "Ossie" Miller the son of Crittendon Thomas Miller and Susie E Caliway Miller. Lela Ellen (Maxwell) Miller the daughter of Thomas Maxwell and Sally Farah Maxwell.

Lela Miller, 103, of Sedgwick departed this life Friday evening, Sept. 28, 2007, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.

She was born July 8, 1904, at Crossett, the daughter of the late Thomas and Sally Farah Maxwell.

She was united in marriage to Ossie Buel Miller on Oct. 11, 1921, at Crossett. He preceded her in death on Aug. 17, 1990.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and member of United Church of God in Sedgwick for over 40 years.

Lela loved her family very much and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and sewing for them. She was a good neighbor and often cooked for those who were in need. Her hobbies were crafts, quilting, gardening and cooking.

Survivors include three daughters, Aleeta Dame and Reba Berry, both of Sedgwick, and Marie and her husband Harold Manus of Bono; three grandchildren, Betty Dame Petty and Buel Dame, both of Bono, and Dennis Manus of El Dorado; six great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandson, Drake Nash; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held in Higginbotham Chapel at Walnut Ridge. Burial was in Old Military Cemetery at Sedgwick under the direction of Higginbotham Funeral Service at Walnut Ridge.
