James Woodrow Merrell the husband of Gilfa (Meadows) Merrell.

WEST MEMPHIS -- James William "Woodrow" Merrell, 85, of West Memphis died Monday, Sept. 30, at Crittenden Memorial Hospital in West Memphis. He was the retired owner-operator of Wynne Radiator Shop.
Survivors include his wife, Gilfa Merrell of West Memphis, and two daughters, Nancy Merrell of Berkeley, Calif., and Elizabeth Merrell Ennenga of Cordova, Tenn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Roller-Citizens Funeral Home at West Memphis, with the Rev. Clyce Hurst and the Rev. Lisa Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at Old Military Cemetery in Sedgwick.
Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of West Memphis Building Fund.
