Springdale — Gilbert Cortiana, 51, of Route 1, Springdale died Sunday at Springdale Memorial Hospital. Born July 7, 1925 at Tontitown, the son of Cel and Mary Ceola Cortiana, he was a veteran of World War II and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church at Tontitown.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Lucis (Shortie) Fuqua Cortiana of the home; a son, Carl of Tulsa; a daughter, Pamela Sue Cortiana of the home; his mother of Tontitown; a brother, Gordon of Springdale and a sister, Mrs. L.B. Granata of Tontitown.
Rosary service was held Monday night and funeral mass was scheduled for 11 a.m. today with burial in St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery under the direction of Sisco Funeral Chapel.
