Roy Bryant, 78, of Corning, died Saturday at the Randolph County Medical Center in Pocahontas.

He was retired from Darling Store Fixtures and also worked for GE in Illinois. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the First General Baptist Church in Corning.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Bryant of the home; one daughter, Sherry Rogers of Reyno, and one grandson. He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home of Corning, with Rev. Don Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Corning Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 9 this evening at the funeral home.
