1897 - 1941
The Steele Enterprise, Steele, Missouri
Thursday, June 5, 1941
Mrs. Mark Denham, a former resident of this city, and well known here, passed away last Friday at a hospital in Corning, Ark. The deceased was born July 17, 1897 at Fordland, Mo.
Mrs. Denham was a member of the First Baptist Church in Caruthersville. She was converted in 1918 at Steele during a revival meeting conducted by Rev. McKinney.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Corning, conducted by Rev. J.W. Cunningham, pastor of the Steele Baptist Church. Burial was made in a cemetery at Corning.
Survivors include the husband, three daughters, Orine, Grace and Peggy and two sons, Edward and Henderson.
