Mr. Manuel Burkley Lamp, 90, of De Soto, MO., passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center on Crystal City, MO.
Mr. Lamp was born in Piggott, AR., on Decemeber 22, 1921.
He was a retired mechanic for Feld Leasing in Saint Louis, MO.
He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during World War II, he was a member of the Masonic Lodge and Parkview Baptist Church in De Soto, MO.
He married his wife Mary Lois (Sipert) Lamp on October 1, 1951. She preceded him in death on February 15, 2011.
He is survived by two daughters Benita F. Lamp of De soto, MO., Lisa A. Crawley of Livonia, MI.; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents William and Clemy (Sweeten) Lamp and sister Catherine Vail.
Funeral services were held in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in the Corning Cemetery.
