Imogene (Cantwell) Thompson, 77, of Dexter died Jun. 17, 2009, at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter.

She was a retired sales associate for Wal-Mart and enjoyed fishing, quilting, reading and bingo. She was of the Southern Baptist faith.

On Oct. 22, 1949, she was united in marriage to Gilbert Thompson. He preceded her in death Feb. 20, 1977.

Survivors are four sons, one brother, one sister, 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert Thompson; parents Duke and Sena (Michles) Cantwell; one daughter Claudetta Fuller; grandson Scott Thompson; brother Elmo Cantwell and twin sister Norma Jean Rodden.

Burial will be in Corning.
