Mrs. Maxine Goodman, 69, of Corning, died at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould. Born in Success, she worked on the assembly line at Basler Electric. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corning.
Survivors include her mother, Mary Hovis of Success; four brothers, Tim Hovis of Doniphan, Mo., Tom Hovis and Gary Hovis, both of Success, and Mike Hovis of Corning; two sisters, Polly Dill of Success and Fredia Nidaver of Davis Junction, Ill.; and a half-sister, Viola Bassoni of San Jose, Calif.
