WEST FORK — Peggy Markham, age 51, of West Fork died Saturday June 16, 2012, in Springdale, Ark. She was born June 23, 1960, in Fayetteville to Charles Lee and Patricia McIlquham Preston.
She loved gardening, reading and Minnesota Viking football. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lee Preston.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Markham; daughter, Jandyn Markham of Springfield, Mo.; son, Justin Markham of Fayetteville, Ark.; mother, Pat Lawson of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Sandra Thompson and her husband, Ken, of Tulsa, Okla.; nephew, Mathew Watson and his wife, Valerie, of Claremore, Okla.; great-niece, Kylie Watson and her sister-in-law, Diane Hayes and her husband, Marty, of Greenland, Ark.; her mother-in-law, Bobby Markham of West Fork, Ark.; several nieces; nephews; and friends.
Visitation will be 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2012, at Moore's Chapel. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Moore's Chapel with burial at Parks Cemetery near Winslow, Ark.
