David the son of George A. and Lois (Compere) Jimerson.
DAVID JIMERSON
Dr. David JIMERSON, 60, Jonesboro, died Thursday, May 27, 2004 in St. Bernard's Medical Center. Born in Little Rock May 12, 1944, he was a retired Arkansas State University chemistry professor. He was also a past Arkansas delegate to Alcoholics Anonymous. His hobbies included glass blowing, yard work, wood working and was an avid collector. He was reared in Corning and was a graduate of Corning High School.
Survivors include his wife, Sue JIMERSON of the home; two sons, Garrett JIMERSON of London and John JIMERSON of Brooklyn New York; one stepson, Ronnie DUNCAN of Fairhope, Alabama; two stepdaughters, Carla MYERS of West Memphis and Donna MYERS of Daphne, Alabama; one granddaughter, Haven JIMERSON and three step-grandchildren, Cody FRALEY, Kyle FRALEY and Tyler MYERS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George A. and Lois C. JIMERSON and one brother, James "Jim" JIMERSON.
Funeral services were conducted Sunday afternoon in the chapel of Ermert Funeral Home, Corning with Andy PULFORD officiating. Burial in Corning Cemetery.
