Mrs. Tressie Mae Bracken was born July 26, 1904 in Butler county, Missouri and died March 21, 1980 at Community Methodist Hospital, Paragould. She was 75 years old.
She was a resident of Imboden until four months ago when she became a resident of Corning Nursing Home. Se was formerly a cook and a factory worker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Walnut Ridge.
Survivors are five sons, Bob and Ike Bracken both of Memphis, James and Sidney Bracken, both of Rockford Illinois and Floyd Bracken of Walnut Ridge; five daughters, Mrs. Barbara Case of Durand, Illinois, Mrs. Linda Taylor of Rockford, Mrs. Louise House of Imboden, Mrs. Sarah Williams of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Mrs. Wanda Baldwin of Route Two, Paragould; one half-brother, John Lester Cargill, Greenville, Missouri; three half-sisters, Mrs. Ida Mae Scott of Neelyville, Mrs. Martha Hicks of St. Louis and Mrs. Iva Walls of Corning. There are also 24 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted Monday morning, March 24, in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel by Reverend Jack Bearden. Burial was in Corning Cemetery.
