Evelyn Carol Johnson (nee Roberts), age 80 of Overland, Mo.; died at Mark Twain Manor, Bridgeton, Mo. on Friday, August 10, 2007.
She was the beloved wife of the late Gilbert Wayne Johnson; dear mother of Carol Forsythe, Scott (Marlene) and Jeff (Ann) Johnson; dear grandmother of Alek (Laura) Forsythe, Ryan and Stepanie Johnson; dear step-grandmother of 3; dear great-grandmother of one; dear sister of Rolland Roberts, Darrell Roberts, Mary Gaffney, Shirley Phelan, Anita Licavoli, Sandra Pikey and the late Mildred Corson and Vertis Roberts; dear sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend.
Memorial Gathering on Wednesday, August 15 from 3 to 5 p.m. with service at 4 p.m. at BAUMANN COLONIAL CHAPEL, 2504 Woodson Road, Overland, Mo. 63114. Private interment at Corning Cemetery, Corning, Ark.
Evelyn Carol (ROBERTS) JOHNSON, Overland, MO was born in Corning Dec. 24, 1926 to Elmer and Ada (VINES) ROBERTS. She died at Mark Twain Manor, Bridgeton, MO Friday Aug. 10, 2007. She was 80.
Survivors include one daughter Carol FORSYTHE; two sons Scott (Marlene) JOHNSON and Jeff (Ann) JOHNSON; grandchildren, Alek (Laura) FORSYTHE, Ryan and Stephan JOHNSON; three step-grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers and sisters Rolland ROBERTS, Darrell ROBERTS, Mary GAFFNEY, Anita LICAVOLI, Sandra PIKEY and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings Mildred CORSON and Vertis ROBERTS.
Memorial services were conducted Aug. 15 in Baumann Colonial Chapel, Overland, MO. Final Burial will be in Corning Cemetery at a later date.
