Mabel was the wife of Raymond Rush. Mabel the daughter of Joseph and Artie (Martin) Dollins.



Mabel Rush
(September 17, 1924 - June 12, 2011)

Mrs. Mabel Rush, 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, AR. Mrs. Rush was born in Knobel, AR., she was a homemaker, she enjoyed sewing and quilting, she was a member of Corning Church of Christ.

She married her husband Raymond Rush on June 23, 1942 in Lafe, AR. He preceded her in death on August 21, 1995.

She is survived by three sons Larry Rush and wife Cindy of Corning, AR., Ricky Rush and wife Paula of Corning, AR., Billy Rush and wife Tammy of Corning, AR.; four daughters Jeri Taylor of Corning, AR., Linda and husband Carl Craft of Williamsville, MO., Brenda Rush of Senath, MO., Marilyn and husband Steve Heath of Jonesboro, AR.; three brothers Bill Dollins and wife Mary of Kennett, MO., Jack Dollins and wife Carolyn of Kennett, MO., Holly Dollins and wife Linda of Kennett, MO.; one sister Betty and husband Robert Bradley of Senath, MO.; 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents Joseph and Artie (Martin) Dollins; son Willie Jay Rush; and two grandsons Joey and Jarrett Rush.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Frederick Pringle officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Wednesday, June15, 2011 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.
