Olen Shepard (September 15, 1926 - November 19, 2011)

Mr. Olen Shepard, 85, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Saint Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Shepard was born in Corning, AR., on September 15, 1926. He was a retired car dealer and was Pentecostal in faith.

He Married his wife Earlene "Tootsie" (Gunnels) Shepard on March 4, 1946. She preceded him in death on May 14, 1999.

He is survived by one son Larry Shepard of Paragould, AR.; one brother Vern Shepard of Corning, AR.; two sisters Genevia Schlegal of Hawthorn, CA., Maudie Brown of Phoenix, AZ.; two granddaughters Leighann Ratton of Newport, AR., Larra Otero of Texarkana, TX.; three great-grandchildren Abby Ratton, Loren Ratton, Nicholas Otero; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Mary (Offard) Shepard; and his wife.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 21, 2011 at 12:00 PM in the Corning Cemetery with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Public visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2011 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
