Mr. Jackie Edward Arnold, 87, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, August 24, 2013 at home. Mr. Arnold was born in Kansas City, MO., on September 28, 1925. He was retired from Riceland Foods in Corning, AR. He enjoyed deer hunting and gardening. He proudly served his country during World War II as a member of the United States Army Air Force. He was a member of the Corning Church of Christ.

He married his wife of sixty years Geneva (Ballard) Arnold on June 24, 1949. She preceded him in death on September 21, 2009.

He is survived by one son Charles "Eddie" Arnold and wife Betty of Corning, AR.; one sister Joy Baker of Corning, AR.; one granddaughter Charla and husband Michael Foster of Batesville, AR.; and one great-grandson Noah Foster.

He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents Henry Edward and Addie (Walls) Arnold and brother Austin Arnold.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 26, 2013 at 10:00 Am in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Cline officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 25, 2013 from 6:00 PM until to 8:00 PM.

Memorials may be made to Noah's Ark Pre-School or to the Paragould Children's Home.
