Obituary

Mr. Donald “Bo” Hubbard, 77, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, November 15, 2013 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mr. Hubbard was born in Success, AR on July 2, 1936. He was retired from Darling Store Fixtures, He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing tennis and golf, and following his grandchildren’s sporting events. He was a member of the Corning Masonic Lodge # 719, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a Deacon and taught Sunday School for 35 years at Calvary Baptist Church.

He married his wife of 56 years Yulonda (Lester) Hubbard on February 15, 1957, she survives. Other survivors include one son Donnie Hubbard and wife Marla of Jonesboro, AR.; two daughters Paula and husband Stuart Hill of Searcy, AR., Shelley and husband Mark Grubb of Piggott, AR.; seven grandchildren Logan Hubbard, Clay Hubbard, Jordan Hubbard, Sarah Hill and husband J.R. Davidson, Rachel Hill, Tyler Grubb, Trevor Grubb; two sisters Magdalene Hubbard of Corning, AR., and Linda Hansen of Loomis, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Thurman “A.T.” and Carrie (Pirtle) Hubbard; four brothers James Otis Hubbard, Ira Hubbard, Junior Hubbard, Joe Hubbard; two sisters Pauline Holden and Carrie Sue Rohlfing.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, November 18, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, November 18, 2013 from 9:00 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
