HOXIE -- Winfred Adell Mason, 63, of Hoxie died Tuesday, March 29, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

Born at Huntingdon, Tenn., he was owner and operator of the Mason Trucking Co. and of the Protestant belief.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Mason of the home; four daughters, Tenene Mason Carley of Hoxie, Renee Mason of the home, Karen Jones of Caruthersville, Mo., and Kimmy Kilburn of Sullivan, Mo.; a son, Brian Mason of Caruthersville.; five sisters, Doris Hubbel of Jonesboro, Fay Yates of Bismarck, Joy Tilmon of Bernie, Mo., Ruth Gaines of Dexter, Mo., and Charlotte Jane Mason of St. Louis; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Bryan Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Everett Isom officiating. Burial will follow in Old Military Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Kilburn, Darrell Melton, Earl Nicholas, Junior McEntire, Albert Yarbro, Robert Durbin, Tom Weigand and James Tilmon.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
