William Henry Luper, 79 of Sunset, died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born July 13, 1887 at Winslow, the son of Joe and Sally Peters Luger and was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Roxie Luper of the home; one son, Oren of Winslow; one foster-son, Wallace Reed of Oklahoma City; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Reed, Mrs. Iva Goodwin and Mrs. Ruth Wood, all of Winslow; one brother, Rollie Luper of Lincoln; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Winslow Assembly of God Church with burial in Parks Cemetery under direction of Moore' s Chapel.

Mrs. Roxie Carmen Luper, 82, Rt. 2, Winslow, died Jan. 31 at her home. Born Feb. 12, 1894, at Winslow, she was the daughter of J.H. and Mattie Sebourn Rush, and the widow of William (Bill) Henry Luper, a lifelong resident of the community and a member of Temple Hills Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include two sons, Oren Luper and Wallace Reed, Winslow; two daughters, Mrs. Mae Reed and Mrs. Iva Goodwin, Winslow; one brother, Del Rush, Gentry; three sisters, Mrs. Jessie Sorenson, Fresno, Calif., Mrs. Mary Taylor, Fairfield, Calif., and Mrs. Elsie Fritch, Winslow; 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Temple Hill Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Doyle Patrick officiating, assisted by the Rev. Bobby Boles and the Rev. M.C. Parrish. Burial will be in Parks Cemetery, Winslow, under the direction of Moore's Chapel of Fayetteville.
