Clayton Edward Hamm 81 of Huttig died Tuesday December 11, 2012. He was born July 22, 1931 in Point Blank Texas to James Clayton Hamm and Kathryn White Hamm Scholwinski.

Clayton was a working man who spent a career working as a mechanical engineer. He was a veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He loved his family who will miss him dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Wife Cecelia Ward Hamm, two son’s; Huey Elton Hamm and Jesse Williams and a brother Ray Hamm.

He is survived by four sons; Shingi Hamm (Sylvia) of Kingwood, Texas, Clayton H. Hamm (Elaina) of San Leon, Texas, Lyndon Hamm (Tammy) of Pittsfield, Maine and Wesley Williams of El Dorado, Arkansas, two daughters; Sherry Sanders (Glenn) of Rio Vista, Texas, Kim Bolding (Tommy) of Huttig, Arkansas, two sisters; Dorothy Willette of Rio Vista, Texas and Delma Holcombe of Houston, Texas and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Perry’s Funeral Chapels from 6-8 pm.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012 at Knowles Baptist Church with Bro. Tommy Nash officiating with burial to follow at Old Lapile Cemetery under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapels.
