Frances M. Sobczak, 68, of Bella Vista, died March 30 at her home. She was born Feb. 21, 1916 at Alpha, N.J. She moved to Bella Vista in 1973 from New York. She was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Bella Vista.
Survivors include her husband, Ira Sobczak of Bella Vista; three sons, James Sobczak of San Francisco, Don Sobczak of Armor, N.Y., and Robert Sobczak of Berlin, Conn.; four daughters, Frances Jablonski of Armor, N.Y., Mary Marchetti of Editon, N.Y., Janet Atkins of Hot Springs, and Barbara Sobczak of Bella Vista; four brothers, Joe Dyrek of Dallas, Texas, Walter Dyrek of Kenmore, N.Y., Anthony Dyrek of Phoenix and Chester Dyrek of Boston; two sisters, Helen Kane of Kenmore, N.Y. and Rose Grzywa of Omaha, Neb.; and 16 grandchildren.
A rosary service was held April 2 at Burns Funeral Home Chapel, Bentonville, by Father Bernard Malone. A funeral mass was held April 3 at St. Bernard Catholic Church with burial at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery under the direction of Burns Funeral Home, Bentonville.
