SPRINGDALE — Ralph Earl Uher, 8l, of Springdale died Aug. 26, 2006, at the Earlane Howard Hospice House in Springdale. He was born July 7, 1925, in Omaha, Neb., to John and Agnus Christine Kutcher Uher. He was a retired electrician from the University of Arkansas Physical Plant and served in the Navy. He was an active member and Sunday school teacher at Knob Hill community and attended Pilgrim Rest Freewill Baptist Church in Springdale.

Survivors include hie wife, Dorothy Zimmer Uher of the home; one son, Michael Uher and wife Jackie of Prairie Grove; one daughter, Marilyn Ewing of Fayetteville; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Lester Harp officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery in the Harmon Community under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home, online at www.menfuneral.com.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

FAYETTEVILLE — Dorothy Marie Uher, 83, a resident of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Jan. 5, 2011, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Dec. 26, 1927, in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Benjamin and Hulda Christine Nelson Zimmer.

She was a member of the Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Nob Hill, Ark.

She was preceded in death by husband, Ralph Earl Uher.

Survivors include one daughter, Marilyn Ewing of Fayetteville, Ark.; one son, Mike Uher and his wife, Jackie, of Prairie Grove, Ark.; five grandchildren, Beau Ewing and his wife, Wendy, Misty Ewing, Roger Uher and his wife, Angie, Rodney Uher and his wife, Mandy, and Robert Uher; 10 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Noah, Joseph, Forrest, Rhiver, Cheyenne, Michael, Beau, Kamryn and Morgan.

Family will receive friends on Friday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove, Ark.

Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, 2011, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark. Burial will be in the White Oak Cemetery in Savoy, Ark.; there will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Beau Ewing, Roger Uher, Rodney Uher, Robart Uher, Beau Uher and Forrest Ewing.
