Mrs. Mary Lacye Adams, 91, of Springhill, La., died in a nursing home in Ruston, La., Tuesday morning following a long illness. Mrs. Adams was born in Wesson Aug. 22, 1876, the daughter of Samuel and Nellie Spooner Graves. She was a member of the Church of God. Surviving are three sons, S. D. Adams of El Dorado, Rex Adams of Fayetteville, Tenn., and Marcus Adams of Marion, La.; and seven daughters, Mrs. Ethel Garris of El Dorado, Mrs. Ada L. Bowen of Marion, Mrs. Sallie Canady of Huttig, Mrs. W. H. Worley of Santa Rosa, Calif., Mrs. R. L. Byrd of Springhill, Mrs. James Trimble of Orlando, Fla., and Miss Ruby Adams of Benton. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Young's. (El Dorado Times - January 16, 1968)
