FAYETTEVILLE — John Garrison Meiser, 53, of Fayetteville died Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, at Washington Regional Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 30, 1954, in Memphis, Tenn., the son of John Gordon and Vicky Ryker Meiser.

He was an employee of the University of Arkansas.

He is survived by a daughter, Jamie Nicole Meiser of Jay, Okla.; a brother, Jim Meiser of Fayetteville; a sister, Cecilia Seay of Fayetteville; two nephews, Jamey Adams of Frederick, Md., Jared Meiser of Houston; three nieces, Ashley Seay and Kelly Meiser, both of Fayetteville, Jena Meiser of Kansas City, Mo.; several aunts, an uncle and cousins.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29 at Moore's Chapel in Fayetteville, online at www.mooresfuneralchapel.com.

Burial will be in White Rock Cemetery in Lincoln after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Salvation Army, P.O. Box 696, Fayetteville, 72702.
