December 6, 1911 - June 22, 1977
Mrs. Mamie Woods, 65, of Camden, Rt. 4 died Wednesday at Hot Spring County Hospital in Malvern following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. P.B. Sharp officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Service of Camden. She was a lifelong member of the Baptist church and served as president of the usher board for many years. She was president of the Missionary society until her death. Survivors include her husband, Johnnie Woods of Camden, and a number of nieces and nephews. (Camden News - June 25, 1977)
