GARFIELD — Erma L. Metcalf, 78, died Nov. 26, 2012, after a long illness, in Bentonville. She was born on June 26, 1934, to the late Doran and Bonnie Ruth (Evans) Metcalf in Rogers, Ark.
Ms. Erma worked at Daisy Manufacturing for many years, then went to Peter Pan Cleaners and worked as a receptionist until retiring. She enjoyed vegetable gardening, long walks, reading, doing crosswords and puzzles, visiting friends and family and attending the Pea Ridge Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by her two sisters, Dimple Henson of Bentonville and Ona Gramling of Rogers; six nieces; two nephews; many great- and great-great-nieces, -nephews and friends.
Ms. Erma was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Metcalf and sister, Vona Metcalf.
A visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, from 10 to 11 a.m. with a funeral service to follow at 11 a.m., in Callison-Lough Funeral Home Chapel, Rogers, Ark. Burial will be at Rambo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Church of the Nazarene, 150 Barris Lane, Pea Ridge AR 72751.
