Mrs. Ester Trawick Brown, age 99 of Shirley, Arkansas, was born September 16, 1905, in Van Buren County, Arkansas, and died Tuesday, February 8, 2005, in Clinton, Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late Dick and Louvina (Roberts) Cullum. A resident of Van Buren County for most of her life, Mrs. Brown was a homemaker and a member of the Shirley Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her parents and also by her husbands, Elmer Trawick and John Brown, and four sons, Ray, Fred, Kay, and Jimmy Dale Trawick. Survivors include three daughters, Margie McElroy of Bridgeport, Texas, Tincy Brown of Greenbrier, and Macie Weaver of Shirley, two sisters, Blanche Baker of Clinton, and Faye Loftis of Ward, one stepson, Garner Brown of Shirley, Twenty-one grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and twenty-five great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Brown is also survived by other relatives and her many friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 9, from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Olmstead Woodland Memorial Park Chapel at Edgemont. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 10, at 2:00 P.M. in the Shirley Church of Chirst with Dan Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Davis Special Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Doug Ward, Jeff Ward, Michael Weaver, Steve Trawick, Tim Trawick, Tommy Trawick, Rick Trawick, Kevin Trawick, Bill McElroy, and Leo McElroy. Arrangements are by Olmstead Funeral Home, Inc.
