Olmstead Funeral Home Inc.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Monday, March 31 at the Davis Special Cemetery for Marvin C. Gentry of Shirley, who passed away at his home on Sunday, March 30, 1986 at the age of 65.
The son of Elmer and Mollie Parker Gentry, he was born at Edgemont, Ark.
Mr. Gentry was a farmer and had been a resident of Edgemont all his life.
His religious belief was that of the Baptist faith. He was also a veteran of World War II, having served in the U. S. Army.
Survivors include four brothers and three sisters, Ebb Gentry of West Side and Joe Gentry of Edgemont; Alvin and David Gentry of Shirley; Mrs. Merlene Trammel, both of Searcy and Mrs. Betty Spears of Illinois, other relatives and many friends.
Rev. Paul Parker officiated at the final tribute.
Pallbearers were Willie Brown, Carthel Pearce, Cecil Murphree, Bill Johnson, Terry Lee and Oney Ware.
Interment was in the Davis Special Cemetery by Olmstead Funeral Home Inc.
