A funeral for Floie Ruby Davis of Northeast Portland, a retired employee of the Internal Revenue Service, will be at 7 p.m. Thursday in Temple Baptist Church. Burial will be in Davis Special Cemetery in Edgemont, Ark.
She died of cancer Saturday in a Portland hospital at the age of 85. Born March 7, 1906, in Edgemont, Ark., she had lived in the Portland area since 1949. Mrs. Davis worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 21 years until her retirement in 1970.
A member of Temple Baptist Church, she taught Sunday school classes for about 30 years. Her husband, Robert T. Davis, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Robert T. Jr. of Germany; sister, Jeffie E. Crider of Atwater, Calif.; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
The family suggests remembrances be contributions to the Bible radio program, Box 7100, Pasadena, Calif. 91109-7100. Oregonian, The (Portland, OR)
