July 15, 1884 - October 17, 1972
J. E. French, 88, of Camden, died early today at the home of his daughter Mrs. R. J. Mays of Camden. Funeral arrangements will be announced by Camden Funeral Service. Mr. French was a retired employe of International Paper Co. and was an active member of Cullendale Assembly of God Church. He had resided in Camden for the past 50 years. Other survivors include three sons, Eddie French of Camden, Kirk French of Taylor and Roy French of Norfolk, Va., three other daughters, Mrs. Jeanie Kelley of Camden and Mrs. Rimble Singleton and Mrs. Connie Martin both of California; 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
