James Shelby Goodman the husband of Juanita Mardell (Capps) Goodman. James Shelby Goodman the son of Press Goodman and Cordie (Mothershed) Goodman.
James Shelby Goodman
HOXIE -- James Shelby Goodman, 72, of Hoxie died Friday, July 8 at St. Bernard's Medical Center.
Born at Swifton, he was a machine operator for the Federal Compress and was of the Pentecostal belief.
Survivors include his wife, Mardell Goodman of the home; two sons, Jimmy Dale Goodman of Ravenden and Perry Randell Goodman of Minturn; one sister, Yvonne Leal of Florida; and two grandchildren, Joshua Preston Goodman and Angela Michelle Goodman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Press and Cordie Goodman; one brother; and one sister.
Private graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday in Old Military Cemetery at Sedgewick under the direction of Bryan Funeral Home of Hoxie. Danny Whitmire will officiate.
No visitation is scheduled.
