Jo Nell the daughter of Tom Aaron and Bonnie (Baxter) Rorex.
Jo Nell Butler 81, of Tyler, Texas, passed from this life Friday February 26, 2016 in Tyler. She was born on January 8th, 1935 in Egypt, Arkansas to the late Tom Aaron and Bonnie (Baxter) Rorex.
Jo Nell graduated from Egypt High School in 1952 and Jonesboro Business College. She was a member of Shiloh Road Church of Christ. Jo Nell was the office manager at Voight Oil Company for 30 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Bobby June Butler and siblings, Terry Rorex, Fred Rorex, Anita Rorex and Juanita Rorex.
She is survived by her sons; James Aaron Butler and Terri Payne of Ovilla, Texas, Calvin Fain Butler and wife Lisa Anne of Rockwall, Texas, and granddaughter Iiissa Ann butler of Denver, Colorado.
Pallbearers will be Mark Rorex, David Rorex and Fred Rorex, Jr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shiloh Road Church of Christ, 1801 Shiloh Rd., Tyler, Texas 75703
Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 P.M., Monday, February 29, 2016 in Tyler, Texas and a visitation will also be from 1-2 P.M., Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 at House-Gregg Funeral Chapel in Walnut Ridge with a graveside service at 2:30 P.M. in Markham Cemetery near Egypt, Arkansas under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Walnut Ridge and Lynn, AR.
