Obituary:
Maggie Myrle Hardin, 89, of Palm Desert, California passed away on December 21, 2014 with her daughters by her side. Maggie was born on June 21, 1925 in Onia, Arkansas to the late Samuel and Mintie (McGee) Moore. Maggie worked in a powder plant during the war and after worked as a sales clerk at Macy’s department store. Maggie accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized into the Baptist Church.

Maggie is survived by her two daughters, Rebecca Sue Philbrook and husband Ted, and Brinda McIntosh and husband, Roy; one grandson, Jason Armison and Diana; and seven step-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Mintie (McGee) Moore; husband, Lemuel Hardin; brother, Woodrow Moore, and sisters, Virgie Fulks, Vernie Sterling, Jewell Ticer, and Opal Henson, Addie Goodwin, and Alphie Rorie.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, December 30, 2014 from 9:00-10:00AM at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas. Funeral services will follow the visitation beginning at 10:00AM also at Roller Coffman Chapel with Brother Junior Barham officiating. Interment will take place at Flatwoods Cemetery in Mountain View, Arkansas.

Pallbearers are Brad Fulks, Merlin Bontrager, Jim McCarn, Hinkle Decker, Ted Philbrook, and Larry Freeze.
