Joy Gail Mitchell, age 71, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 3, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born November 10, 1937 in Everton, Arkansas to the late Delos and Winnie Gertrude (Chowning) Dodd.
Mrs. Mitchell married Bill Allen Mitchell April 17, 1970 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Mountain Home. She was a homemaker and greatly loved her family.
Mrs. Mitchell is survived by her husband: Bill of the home, a son: Perry Mitchell and wife Tammy of Mountain Home, two daughters: Debbie Blasi and husband Wayne and Vicki Cowart and husband Jeff all of Mountain Home, a sister: Pauline Dodd of Mountain Home, seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by two grandsons: Matthew and David Blasi, five brothers and three sisters

Bill Mitchell, age 81, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Friday, February 26, 2016, in Mountain Home. He was born January 31, 1935, in Cash, Arkansas to Bilbo and Wilma (Batson) Mitchell.
Bill married Joy Gail Dodd April 17, 1970, in Mountain Home. He was a retired Home Builder and Cattle Rancher in the Baxter County Area. He is a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain Home.
Bill is survived by a son Perry Mitchell and wife Tammy of Mountain Home, two daughters Vicki Cowart and husband Jeff of Gainesville, Missouri and Debbie Blasi and husband Wayne of Mountain Home, eight grandchildren Aaron Mitchell, Krista Hunter, Chase Amyx and wife Miranda, Ryan Amyx, Michael Feeney, Tyler Feeney, Cassie Worley and husband Brandon and Melissa Blasi and nine great grandchildren Kiernan, Hayden, Berkley, Haley, Isaac, Jacob, Charlotte, Adisen and Dawson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two brothers and two grandsons Matthew and David.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016, at Roller Funeral Home with Ron Kincaid officiating. A visitation will be from Noon until 9:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or donor’s choice. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.
