James F. Daggett, Jr. age 60 of East Moline, Illinois died Thursday, March 18, 2010 at Davenport, Illinois. He was born August 8, 1949 at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas to James F. and Virgina (Sneed) Daggett Sr. He married Kathy Jo Haney on October 31, 2008 in Rock Island, Illinois. He was a roll grinder at Alcoa Aluminum Company in Davenport, Illinois before retiring in 2002.

He enjoyed cooking, the Bears, playing pool, building houses and growing different types of peppers and tomatoes.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Virginia Daggett of Saffell, his wife Kathy Jo Daggett of East Moline, Illinois, one daughter, Jamie Daggett of Matherville, Illinois, one son, Joshua Ryan and wife Jessica of Silvis, Illinois, sisters and brothers-in-law Ophelia and Al Pauwels of Saffell, Betty and Corb Watson of East Moline, Illinois, Sylvia Krantz and Patricia and Mark Johnson of Rock Island, Illinois, Marilyn and Victor Taylor of Cocoa, Florida, Larane and Steve Hanna of East Moline, Illinois, Jeanie and Bert Brown of North Ft. Myers, Florida, grandchildren Kristyn, Cassandra, Tyler, Aaliyah, Derek, Jr., stepsons, Keven Brooks of Bettendorf, Illinois, Bruce Brooks of Matherville, Illinois, Derek Haney of East Moline, Illinois and a dog Rusty.

Funeral services will begin Monday March 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel in Cave City with Bro. Bobby Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in the Ward Cemetery located at Strawberry with arrangements by Qualls Funeral Home of Cave City.

Visitation will be Monday, March 22, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Qualls Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Sneed, Bradley Sneed, Bert Brown, Vic Taylor, Steve Hanna and Kenny Keehn.
