April 20, 1947 - May 11, 1964
Donald F. Morrow, 17, died at his home on S. Jackson Rd. Monday at 1:30 p.m. after a lengthy illness. Young Morrow was born April 20, 1947, in El Dorado. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church and of the Choraliers Choir of El Dorado High School, where he was a junior. He is survived by his father, Jim F. Morrow, El Dorado; his mother, Mrs. Vincent Lonigro, Natchez; one brother Kenneth W. Morrow, of the home; two sisters, Rose Marie Morrow and Barbara Morrow, of the home; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Hayes, S. Jackson Rd.; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Wolfe, S. Jackson Rd; and several aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 4 p.m. in the Second Baptist Church with the Rev. M.H. McManus officiating assisted by Dr. Don Harbuck. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery under the direction of Youngs. Pallbearers will be Donald Savage, G. W. Smith, Warner Brown, Paul Baker, Donald Pittman and Larry Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Clayton Taylor and Drs. A. D. Cathey, Joe B. Wharton, Don Echols, E. O. Ballard, Dr. S. M. Lewis and W. M. Stevens. (The El Dorado Times - May 12, 1964)
