Derek L. Misenheimer, 34 of El Dorado, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2014. He was born February 3, 1980, in Craig, Colorado.
He was a member of West Side Baptist Church and the American Outlaws Soccer Organizations.
Derek is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Wayne Misenheimer.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Misenheimer; mother, Jeanette Misenheimer; four brothers, Jerry R. Misenheimer (Renee'); Gary W. Misenheimer (Kristi) all of El Dorado; Dallas R. Misenheimer (Julie) of Taylor, AR, Stacy W. Misenheimer (Brandy) Hot Springs Village, AR; sister, Sherry A. Pitts (Ben) of Bastrop, LA; three children, Caden Misenheimer, Lynlee Misenheimer, Pierce Rodgers; his cousin and best friend, Justin Misenheimer; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2014, at Young's Chapel under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors and with Rev. Ben Pitts and Rev. Gerald Perry officiating.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Bobby Jones, Troy Misenheimer, and Brett Misenheimer.
